What is Tioga Area Dollars for Scholars?

Tioga Area Dollars for Scholars is a scholarship program for students in our community, led by local volunteers and empowered by Scholarship America, the nation's largest scholarship provider.  Since 1992, our Chapter has been able to give over $500,000 in scholarships.  Every qualified student or alumni that applies will recieve a scholarship.

Why is Dollars for Scholars so important?

We believe in our students and in our community.  We honor our past and recognize the future starts with our children.  We want to ensure we can provide both encouragement and financial support for local students. Rising costs are closing doors to higher education for many individuals in our community.  Through Dollars for Scholars we have the opportunity to make a strong, collective statement about the importance of education beyond high school.
